All employment purpose searches are conducted “live” and not performed through a database, which are typically outdated and inaccurate. Database searches could subject clients to inappropriate hiring and termination decisions with unfortunate legal consequences. We do offer database searches and find them to be useful for some investigative methods and searches; however, we do not ever recommend the use of a database for employment purposes. We will make certain to assist and inform our clients to ensure that, as business partners, we are all FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) compliant.

Reports for both Mystery Shopping and Background checks will be prepared by Apollo Services, Inc. and sent to the client within 2-4 business days by any reasonable means and media requested. SECURITY

Our servers are housed in a SAS 70 Type II audited data center monitored by high-definition cameras. The facility is staffed by on-site security personnel twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The data center is located in Phoenix, Arizona, a location favored by global firms. Why? No floods. No snow. No ice storms. No earthquakes. No hurricanes.

Access to the server room requires a biometric scan. The servers are mounted in a locked cabinet that contains only our software providers equipment and only our software providers authorized personnel have access. Servers are protected by redundant air conditioning, on-site back-up generators, and fire prevention systems. Redundant fiber connections from multiple broadband providers ensure continued availability of internet service.

The application software and data reside on high-availability servers running a version of the UNIX operating system. Full backups are performed nightly. Incremental backups are performed on a continuous basis throughout the day. Encrypted system images are moved off site daily.

All data transmission, including XML traffic, is encrypted using SSL certificates issued and managed by Thawte. Servers are protected by multi-level firewall technology and intrusion detection software. Vulnerability scans are conducted on a regular basis by a PCI Approved Scanning Vendor. Our system does not send sensitive data via email. All automatic email notifications contain an embedded link, which requires a valid username password.
